The Role:
Implementing the businesses global project to support systems for work management, materials management, procurement and finance. Key objectives of the project are to develop a single template based on common ways of working using global standards, tools and methodology.
Implementing the project across the globe will improve productivity and reduce costs by applying a more standardized and integrated approach to how we execute work, get materials to the job, manage our spend and pay our suppliers.
This role will support the Regional Project Deployment Process team and support the business in adopting the standard integrated project processes and delivering programme benefits and work to progress and close differences in the existing processes. This role will support the Process Team Leader in managing the development, implementation and operation of the project processes to maintain and improve the implemented project solution during 2013 to 2014. Being part of the Regional Project Deployment Team based in Baku, this role reports to the Process Team Leader.

Key Duties:

• Develop deep understanding of the project process areas and work to ensure the deployment of the process in the Region:
o is compliant with the segment standard practice;
o meets the needs of end users;
o will deliver benefits defined in the backbone FM; and
o is integrated as part of the end to end backbone process.
• Work to gain alignment between the project deployment and functions, including Operations (Reliability & Maintenance, Engineering Services, Subsea etc.), Developments (Wells and Global Projects Organization), Activity Planning, Procurement and Supply Chain Management and Finance
• Support planning and participate in the delivery of User Acceptance Testing activities
• Support Team to deliver process stage gate deliverables and process gap closure
• Share knowledge of ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems (e.g. SAP, Maximo) with the Team to aid technical knowledge build-up that is important in this project
• Advise and coach the team in process / system areas as required by the Process Team Leader
• Provide input to and validation of solution test scenarios and participate in User Acceptance Testing activities
• Assist in preparation of bubble support

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or financial discipline / long term relevant industry experience
• Minimum 2 years of experience in ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems (e.g. SAP, Maximo) and processes covering a wide range of complex business rules of the end to end process
• Strong technical knowledge of ERP systems
• Experience of project deployments and implementing process change across the business
• Experience and understanding of the business processes and policies as they relate to working practice, contractor management, supply chain and controls inclusive of (but not limited to) demand planning, materials management, purchase to pay and finance / payment processes
• Strong interpersonal skills including communication & facilitation and being comfortable coaching people at all levels of the organisation

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Experience in supporting integrated solutions including standard process, data, roles, systems and the complexities in how policy and process is delivered within such an environment
• Upstream Region operational experience
• A self-starter able to make decisions and progress initiatives independently and in an environment where information may be limited
• Excellent Team player in multi-dimensional and/or multi-cultural teams
• Well-developed critical thinking skills, including the ability to communicate ideas both concisely and persuasively
• Ability to influence global decisions in support of the Region and Upstream as a whole
• Good performer – a highly competent individual who is able to set aside personal desires, interests and biases for the sake of a successful project or programme
• Dedicated individual – history of doing whatever it takes to create a successful project outcome; comfortable with pressure and uncertainty
