The Company:
Our Client one of the largest independent oil and gas exploration and production companies in Europe.

The Role:
* Responsible during Engineering & Procurement phase for the complete delivery of the URF package, including but not limited to all subsea umbilicals, Flowlines and Risers and ancillary equipment.
* Develop, implement and manage technical solutions in order to meet project objectives and challenges
* Ensure URF delivery within the project is met according to all time, cost and quality drivers with no compromise on EHS.
* Work closely with other delivery managers to ensure all interfaces across subsea scope and into the FPSO are properly managed.
* This role will then evolve into full delivery responsibility for all subsea installation & HUC activities, which shall cover URF, SPS, Marine & Logistics scopes of work

• Deliver strong EHS leadership through leading by example, across the whole URF & Installation scope, with particular focus on Contractor sites and offshore scope of work.
• Build strong partnerships with Project Leadership Team and Contractor Management teams to ensure URF & Installation delivery is achieved.
• Proactively identify opportunities within the URF package for improvement and deliver credible and creative interventions that seek to improve project delivery and performance
• Be the single point of contact for the URF contractor into the project, including but not limited to EHS, technical, commercial and contractual issues.
• Take a lead role in defining and safely managing marine SIMOPS primacy decisions in the field in accordance with agreed field operational procedures.
• Develop and implement project execution strategies and initiatives focused on top quartile delivery.
• Work with project leadership team to build strong execution capability for the Installation & HUC phase.
• Support SPS Delivery Manager with an installation viewpoint
• Proactively manage, mentor, coach and develop the resources within the URF & Installation / HUC teams to enable success
• Develop and implement resourcing strategies and plans for both URF as well as later installation & HUC phases of work

• Develop, implement and maintain project procedures for Company as well as overseeing development and implementation of all Contractor procedures
• Develop & maintain fit for purpose systems and processes to facilitate the effective management of project. These will include action trackers, technical query logs, deviation notices etc.
• Provide expertise/ guidance on technical issues arising within URF & Installation scope of work
• Pro-actively work with project leadership team to ensure appropriate and effective communication of all project matters across URF team, Installation team and all URF / Installation Contractor teams.
• Ensure accurate and relevant Management Information reporting for all reporting requirements
• Build strong external relationships with key stakeholders, both within the project and external as required to enable top quartile delivery.
• Participate in other project activities where needed, as directed by the Deputy Project Director

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Degree level qualification in Engineering
• Significant proven experience in a similar role
• Preferred areas of expertise:
o Previous Operator project management experience
o Deepwater subsea experience, West Africa preferred
o Sound understanding of Subsea developments
o Strong Technical knowledge of Offshore installation
o Good understanding of commercial and contractual best practices
o Sound knowledge and application of international standards and procedures for deepwater subsea installation
