The Company:
Our Client is an International Company involved in the supply of Energy globally. Their Operations cover Exploration, Production and Downstream and at present they have projects in over 25 Countries worldwide.
In Australia they are involved in one of the Country's largest LNG Projects, including both Gas and Condensate which is currently in Execution Stage.

The Role:
Primary Deliverable
•To assist and support the Interface manager with management of the Interface area (and team) within the Umbilicals Risers and Flowlines (URF) Group during the execution phase.


Key Technical Deliverables
•Work under instruction of URF Interface Manager to assist in resolution of URF Package interfaces to best technical / schedule / commercial outcome
•Monitor and manage all facets of interfaces to ensure that project schedule and technical requirements have, as a minimum, been met or improved upon.
•Conduct interface technical administration duties (e.g. preparation of technical MOM / agendas, accuracy checking / update / confirmation of interfaces within Coreworx system, coordination and follow up of interface issues with Package Engineers etc.) in accordance with the agreed Project Interface Management Plan methodology and procedures and under the direction of the URF Interface Manager.
•Review contractor execution plans to ensure compliance with the agreed Project Interface Management Plan and recommend necessary adjustments.
•Bring to earliest attention of URF Interface Manager any interface issues which present a significant threat to the URF package and suggest mitigating measures / work plan (following discussions with senior discipline engineers).
•Provide reporting function towards URF Interface Manager for all interface related activities.
•Assist URF Interface Manager and other URF Package managers as required around coordination and administartion of technical interface issues.
•Monitor interface performance within the URF Package and prepare interface reports.
•Review and comment on internal INPEX project documentation and external consultant / contractor project documentation.
•Become thoroughly conversant with project documentation, specifications and procedures.
•Assist URF Interface Manager with ad-hoc tasks as required.

•Develop strong teamwork with project personnel and specifically SPS Group, GEP Group, Operations Group and CPF / FPSO Groups.
•Work closely with EPCI Contractor and Supplier personnel.

Key Experiences Requirements
•Experience preferably with design / fabrication / installation of URF type infrastructure and dealing with interfaces at scope boundaries.
•Experience working on other major subsea project scopes either within client or contractor organisation.
•Awareness of safe working and quality practices on offshore construction projects.
•Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
•Willing to travel as required for business both internal and overseas.
•Ability to work with different disciplines and cultures.
•Computer literate

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Qualifications & Licenses
•Tertiary engineering qualifications.
•5 years + experience covering engineering, fabrication and installation of subsea infrastructure within the Oil & Gas Industry through FEED phase and into execution phase.


Critical Skills and Capabilities
•Assist Interface Manager with development of a cohesive interface engineering process and resolution of interfaces.
•Assist Interface Manager with anticipating, identifying and resolving detailed interface issues, in conjunction with senior discipline engineers, in an efficient and cost effective manner.
•Assist other Interface Manager with forward planning and preparation of identified interfaces and interface meeting requirements
