The Company:
Our major oil and gas client is seeking a Utilities Engineer for a year long opportunity with a major oil and gas company.

The Role:
Responsibilities:
Provide operational and structural energy systems and other utility options to clients and deliver solutions, including site visits and desk studies.
Support with “hot” utilities know-how specific process or engineering skill groups and work together with these specialists to deliver optimal solutions to the customer.
Provide technical expertise in the field of instrument air, nitrogen and oxygen systems
Design energy systems and other utilities systems including the integration of these facilities with process schemes – support projects and other clients with utilities reliability assessment and improvement programs
Provide guidance to technology department, design practices, and procurement standards
Technical Assurance and Technology Development for projects and services within the field of water.
Deliver integrated solutions which require optimization between CAPEX constraints and operational reliability.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
15 years of experience in the oil and chemical industry or other energy intensive industry
Prefer candidates with site or startup or commissioning experience, modeling capabilities in Unisim, Thermoflow.
Mastery level knowledge in the following key discipline area competencies indicated below:
- Energy systems, including heat transfer fluids
- Fuel systems and flare recovery
- Cooling systems
- Instrument air and other industrial gases, especially O2 and N2)
- Sound understanding is required on energy and CO2 efficiency
