The Role:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• To manage and develop the functions of the ‘Utilities Team’ consisting of Engineers, Site Supervisors/ Site Foreman/ Section Heads – M&E/ Utilities
• To Coordinate :
o With Contractors and Consultants on day-to-day M&E, Utilities Detection and Utilities Piloting works during planning & tender stage.
o With PDP-PMD Site Team and organize Utilities Team to monitor WPC’s Utilities Detection and Utilities Piloting works.
o With PDP-PMD Site Team and organize Utilities Team to carry-out Utilities Detection as and when required.
o With PDP-PMD Site Team and Consultants to prepare design drawings and obtain approval from relevant authorities for all M&E/ utilities as and when required.
• Provide support to PDP-PMD Site Team and undertake regular visits to the field to strengthen the implementation of all M&E/ utilities relocation works.
• Interfacing with PDP-PMD Site Team on civil, structural and system works.
• Attend trainings to gain knowledge to handle utilities detection equipment.
• Attend site walks, meetings and inspections with PDP Design/ PDP-PMD Site Team, Contractors, Consultants and Authorities.
• Monitor and review shop and as-built drawings submission by WPC, Utilities Detection Contractor and Utilities Piloting Contractor.
• Review all related document submissions for M&E and Utilities by contactors and consultants.
• Assist the Senior Manager – M&E/ Utilities
o With tender process
o With the overall planning, monitoring & controlling of the M&E and utilities relocation works.
• Monitor and access performance of the Utilities Team and Contractors.
• Method statements & Technical Submissions.
• Communication ;
o Preparing work programs, progress reports and presentation reports.
o Preparing proposals for submission to consultant, client and authorities.
o Organizing and chairing meetings.
• To implement all policies, activities, procedures, instructions as relevant and required by the QSHE system.
• Any other duties that may be assigned by the management from time to time.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
• Minimum Degree in Mechanical/ Electrical
• Minimum 10 years of related working experience in Utilities Construction Management
• AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, good report writing and communication skills
• Sound knowledge in M&E/ Utilities, Resourceful, independent, patience, able to interact with any level of people, reliable, self-motivate, able to work in long hours, enthusiastic and good attitude are required for this role.

• Proven skill in leading a team of operational and technical support
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with clients, consultants and authorities to effectively meet target/objective
• Analytical, meticulous and performance driven, highly motivated, energetic and able to adapt affectively to new work environment, situation change and deadlines.
