The Role:
This role will be based in either London or Derby. It's your choice. However you'll not be spending your entire time behind a desk as regular travel between the two locations will be likely.

It may not seem immediately obvious but as a UX Designer within the rail industry you'll be helping to make commuters lives better! Your role will involve making use of data and transforming it into a usable, easy to understand format to keep rail users informed and updated. Think iOS and Android apps and other digital information platforms.

 Experience of creating engaging user experiences with both new and innovative products as well as face-lifting existing large-scale products.
 Experience designing for desktop applications, web applications and mobile applications in both Android and iOS.
 Executing interaction design and visual design as part of a multidisciplinary team.
 Exceptional design skills, production values and attention to detail.
 Awareness of latest industry trends in UX Design across multiple platforms and the ability to bring these into the business.
 Ability to engage in multiple projects simultaneously, ask tough questions, challenge assumptions and drive for results.
 Ability to engage with senior stakeholders within the business to elicit views on customer demand and turn these into deliverables that meet said customer need.
 Understanding of common project management tools and techniques.
 Understanding of common software development tools and techniques.
 Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, leadership, and negotiating skills.
 Strong personal drive and a desire to succeed.
