The Company:
Our Client is a Leading Global Operator in the Oil and Gas Industry.

The Role:
• Review of Purchase Order terms and specifications to ensure incorporation of technical requirements and prerequisite verification and certification requirements.
• Chair or attend and record pre-inspection meetings when specified by the supplier inspection coordinator and follow-up implementation and close-out of agreed actions.
• Perform surveillance, including expediting, inspection and examinations of valves and materials purchased by COMPANY or our contractor at supplier and sub supplier works.
• Verify management of supply chain to ensure that only company fully approved suppliers (Duplex materials) are utilized.
• Weekly detailed expediting and inspection reporting, including;
o monitoring and tracking of action items’
o scheduling, manufacturing
o inspection and test status
o document approval status.
• Determine areas of potential improvement in supplier quality management processes. In conjunction with the supplier Inspection coordinator ensure that bp’s quality management requirements are fully implemented.
• Witness/review of contractor and supplier (first party) inspection and test activities and records in accordance with the clients specification/code requirements in accordance with ITP, s and EU regulatory requirements
• Monitor supplier engineering and technical query’s.
• Monitor supplier non-conformance and corrective action processes, and where necessary, raise non-conformance notes and facilitate disposition of non-conforming products and services.
• Facilitate review of final manufacturing data reports, dossiers and inspection release.
• Analyze and report on contractor and supplier performance •
• PCN level II Radiographic interpretation certification preferred.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Proven experience in Oil/ Gas projects
Educated to HNC level in an engineering discipline.
Is fully conversant with EU codes and standards - in particular PED 97/23/EC
Experienced in the manufacture and testing of Duplex materials (forgings/ castings)
Possesses and is recognized as an expert within area of Valves.
Uses best practices to solve functional issues and improve programs and/or processes in support of organizational business challenges.
Good communication skills including use of Microsoft office platform.
