The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
CAE Analyst within the Vehicle Dynamics Analysis team. Day-to-day tasks will be guided by the Vehicle Dynamics attribute team leader. Thiese will include MBS model build, correlation to physical test data, model development, conducting virtual testing of the vehicle using JLR standard events and procedures, analysing results, documenting and presenting the results to the team and identification of possible mitigation actions for issues which fail targets."

1. Experience of vehicle dynamics theory or a strong motivation to learn and develop these skills.
2. The ability to self-manage workload to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently, robustly and on-time.
3. Proven successful delivery of engineering projects, as part of a team, which meet target in terms of timing, performance and quality.


"This role will be based at Gaydon but could involve significant time at other sites dependant on final roles and responsibilities and phase of the programme. Any applicant not with a points free licences needs to bring forward that issue as part of their application."

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* Good team-working ability and a proactive approach to problem solving.
* A methodical and data-driven attitude. Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
* The ability to self-manage workload to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently, robustly and on-time.
* Experience of vehicle dynamics theory or a strong motivation to learn and develop these skills.
* Proven successful delivery of engineering projects, as part of a team, which meet target in terms of timing, performance and quality.
*Degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering preferred but will accept other candidates providing they have the required skills and experience."

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
"Previous utilisation of MBS modelling software packages is preferred (e.g. SIMPACK ), but training will be provided since essential for role.
Knowledge of suspension system types and vehicle chassis componentry. 'Multi-body simulation (MBS) experience."
