The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
Prototype Vehicle Operations - Vehicle Build Schedule Co-Ordinator The position is to act as coordinator for all client prototype vehicle programmes, working in conjunction with Advanced Product Creation and being responsible for the day to day scheduling of prototype builds to meet all cycle plan assumptions whilst working with Prototype build teams to ensure latest status information is always reflected on overall plan. This Cross functional and demanding role requires meticulous attention to detail, ability to self-manage workload and ability to prioritise key tasks, this role is a core part of the Prototype Vehicle Operations Planning team & the role requires a focussed individual with a determination to succeed, a team player attitude is important as the role crosses many areas of our client. The candidate will have a sound data analysis / processing background combined with excellent MS Excel skills, ideally to expert user level. MS Access knowledge would be an advantage. Ideally the candidate will have a background in manufacturing and an understanding of Prototype Vehicle Manufacture would be advantageous. The candidate should be educated to degree level although relevant experience would be considered equally.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
1. Proven Background in Data Management
2. Project Management
3. Proficient in written & verbal communication to senior levels

- Excellent Project management,
- Ability to work within teams or manage own time & workloads effectively
- Proficient in PC use with sound knowledge of all MS Office applications in particular MS Excel with expert level required
- Proficient in written & verbal communication to senior levels
- Use own initiative & be able meet deadlines
- Confident person able to chair meetings with multiple stakeholders
- Degree or relevant experience.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
- Experience of VBA code
- Knowledge of our clients systems an advantage
- Clean Driving Licence
- Familiar with CAD an advantage
- Previous vehicle or commodity planning an advantage
- Experience of financial data analysis at high level
- Previous experience of negotiation & prioritisation of workloads
- Previous experience of our client would be beneficial to help introduction into the role.
