The Company:
Is a leading Automotive manufacturer and is currently experiencing an upturn in production with demand increasing globally.

The Role:
1 Performance evaluation of Bentley products for handling, stability, steering feel and ride comfort.
2 Optimisation of the above performance attributes through tuning of suspension and steering components (dampers, springs, anti-roll bars, suspension bushes, tyres, steering gear etc)
3 Technical report writing as a means of providing clear evidence of test results and guidance for future component specifications
4 Liaison with design engineers and component suppliers.
5 Liaison with Project management, Whole vehicle engineering and Quality
6 Technical problem solving
7 Organising the availability of all necessary resources (vehicles, technician support, test tracks, licences and components) for the evaluation activities
8 Drawing up and delivering to test plans which support project timing
9 Keeping responsible component owners informed of plans, status and progress
10 Keeping responsible Senior Engineer, Functional Manager and Module
Leader informed of status and progress

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Degree or equivalent in mechanical/automotive engineering or similar.
3 years experience in an automotive OEM or sub-contract test house in a Vehicle Dynamics role.
Formal performance driving training from a reputable provider.
MIRA proving ground licence.
