The Company:
A luxury Automotive OEM based in the West Midlands. After continued growth & success there are a number of new exciting engineering projects underway and we currently have requirements for experienced engineering professionals.

The Role:
To deliver passive vehicle safety attribute testing in support of program DVP and homologation.
Conduct vehicle safety attribute testing as required by vehicle program (including full vehicle crash testing, sub-system and component tests).
Define and produce test requests and specifications.
Ensure all vehicle and other test material (both physical and software) used is representative of design intent, fit for purpose and agreed with organisational stakeholders.
Work with external test partners to ensure all testing conforms to company procedures, industry best practice and global regulations.
Produce accurate and precise test data and reports.
Responsible for test timing plan and workshop liaison.
Organise and conduct test property re-builds, parts and teardowns.
Work with Attribute team leaders to drive engineering issues resolution.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Engineering degree (or equivalent) minimum 2.1 classification is desirable.
Must have experience in; - physical vehicle safety related testing (full vehicle, subsystem or component). - test report writing - workshop liaison - instrumentation and measurement
Familiar with FMVSS/ECE/GCC/NCAP/IIHS and other worldwide regulations and industry standard test procedures.
Intuitive knowledge of fundamental mechanical engineering theory.
Excellent IT skills and working knowledge of MS word/Excel etc.
Excellent problem solving abilities.
Self-starting, self-motivated, with excellent organisational skills.
Able to learn quickly and integrate into a successful and dynamic team
