The Company:
A Major Oil and Gas Joint Venture Company based in Australia, working on major projects in Western Australia, both offshore and onshore. The opportunity for a Document Controller to work on exciting Brownfields projects in the Oil & Gas industry currently exists with this client.

The Role:
As Vendor Document Controller you will be required to have a strong focus on customer service and vendor equipment delivery processing.

Duties will include:
• Responding to Vendor Document Control requests and enquiries in an accurate, timely and professional manner,
• Distributing and expediting supplier documentation for review and approval as required,
• Undertaking document registration and updates in the Supplier Document Management System ensuring a high level of data entry accuracy,
• Performing document archiving and filing (electronic and hard copy) of vendor documents and drawings,
• Inspecting Vendor documentation, ensuring all documentation meets Vendor Document Control standards,
• Executing work activities in a timely manner, meeting required deadlines and timeframes,
• Assisting in the development and implementation of process changes and enhancements, and
• Being an active member in creating and maintaining a culture of HSE leadership that genuinely values no harm to the environment and values our people’s safety, health and well-being.
• Providing support to other internal document control teams where required

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
To be considered for this position you will have previous experience in a Vendor Document Control position ideally gained in a project environment. You will be able to demonstrate the delivery of exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders and have the ability to prioritise your workload in order to meet deadlines. You will have well developed written and verbal communication skills and have the ability to develop practical solutions to problems. Your high level of interpersonal skills will be second to none as will your level of data entry accuracy. Experience in the Oil & Gas industry will be highly regarded but is not essential.
