The Company:
Is a leading Automotive manufacturer with a reputation for outstanding quality the world over. With demand increasing and an upturn in production, there is a need to bring further skills into the business to deliver on current and future projects.

The Role:
Main Purpose of the Role
To ensure that appropriate plans are in place each week that efficiently supports business production plans whilst taking appropriate steps to ensure that final company stock holding records meet the agreed inventory budget targets for wheel and tyre supply
To act on behalf of SQA when appropriate to ensure that parts comply with the agreed quality standards and to take appropriate decisions and actions with regards to rejects and good part availability
To monitor and maintain supplier delivery performance whilst maintaining the data integrity of the parts and to liaise with the various departmental customers in order to support the business needs
To alert the VP team of any potential risks to the supply chain by means of the normal departmental risk process

Scope of the Role
- Plan bought material
- Manage supplier deliveries
- Report on Quality related concerns
- Inventory management
- Responsibility for ensuring that local Health and Safety policies and procedures are followed in order to ensure own safety and the safety of others.

Qualification & Experience

- German speaker would be an advantageous.
- ‘A level’ standard or equivalent. BIPSCS membership or equivalent previous experience.
- The role requires experience in negotiation at all levels internally and externally in order to manage successfully within a dynamic supply and demand type of environment.
- A degree of analytical skills combined with communication and presentation skills are required.
- Experience to be able to plan and operate within a SAP environment is preferable.
