The Company:
Is a leading Automotive manufacturer with a reputation for outstanding quality the world over. With demand increasing and an upturn in production, there is a need to bring further skills into the business to deliver on current and future projects.

The Role:
Main Purpose of the Role

To schedule and obtain material from the supply chain that both supports the business production plan and meets the company inventory profiles. Ensure supplier delivery conformity to the scheduled requirement, control inventory stock holding profiles, monitor and maintain supplier delivery performance whilst maintaining the data integrity of the parts, liaising with departmental customers to support the business needs.

Scope of the Role

a) Plan bought material.
b) Manage supplier deliveries.
c) Attend or provide accurate information for SOSM’s and EOSM’s internally.
d) Inventory management.
e) Cogi management.

Can spend up to 13 weeks on schedule for any materials related to current car build plan and can reschedule parts in line with MRP recommendations.

Qualifications and Experience

- “A” level standard or equivalent.
- BIPCS membership or equivalent previous experience.
- The role requires experience in negotiating at all levels internally and externally in order to manage successfully within a dynamic supply and demand type of environment.
- A degree of analytical skills combined with communication and presentation skills are required.
- Experience to be able to plan and operate within a SAP environment is preferable.
