The Company:
Our Client is one of the world's largest Oil and Gas companies. Their operations cover the entire energy chain, including oil exploration and production to trading, shipping and refining and marketing of petroleum products, as well as chemicals. The Role:
Responsible for the implementation and update of the relevant Integrity Assurance and Verification Scheme procedures for the West Franklin project scope.
Coordinate definition of Safety Critical Element Performance Standards (PS), identifying the source of each ensuring PS and obtaining TA approval. Ensure revision of PSs as appropriate during design development.
Facilitate definition of the ‘Means of Assurance,’ to demonstrate achievement of the performance standards, development by the EPC contractors and subject review and approval by the discipline engineers (SCE Guardians).
Manage the verification authority, activity ensuring agreement of performance standards, acceptance of the means of assurance including related document reviews, inspection and test witness etc. Monitor responses to client findings ensuring these are appropriate and timely.
Monitor MIEC (Maintenance and Inspection Engineering Contract) activity from the perspective of extending the OIAVS (Operational Integrity Assurance and Verification Scheme) to include Project facilities.Coordinate ICP activites.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Relevant experience in the oil and gas industry;
Must have knowledge of the requirements of the Offshore Installations (Safety Case) Regulations and their implementation.
Should have an appropriate discipline background but with a good general knowledge of the other disciplines involved.
Should be familiar with relevant European and UK legislation (e.g. European Directives CE marking etc)
