The Company:
Our Client is a global leader in the supply of facilities and services for the development and production of offshore oil and gas fields as well as the systems relevant to mooring technology. Due to rapid growth they require the best engineers available to support their operations world wide.

The Role:
· Supervises : Verification technical assistant
· Liaises with : Project Management Team; Suppliers and Vendors; Inspectors; Independent Verification Body

RESPONSIBILITIES AND MAIN TASKS
· Act as interface between the Independent Verification Body and the Project;
· Actively participate in the IVB selection and subcontract establishment;
· Follow up the scope of work execution from the IVB subcontract;
· Maintaining an appropriate relationship with the IVB on a day to day basis;
· Work in liaison with IVB to ensure that verification plan and related documentation is agreed by IVB;
· Ensure IVB involvement is clearly identified in applicable RFQ/PO’s to
Equipment/Material Suppliers;
· Coordinate IVB survey visits for construction/testing witness points;
· Develop/write the Verification Scheme in accordance with the UK OSC regulation and other relevant UK regulations and guidelines and in agreement with the IVB;
· Ensure that Design documents are appropriately reviewed;
· Coordinate the communication to the relevant engineer and the appropriate close out of
the Comment and Response Sheet from the IVB;
· Attend FAT for Safety Critical Equipment and Environmental Critical Elements;
· Liaise with Client for DECC attendance to FAT for SCE and ECE as required;
· Witness commissioning of SCE and ECE onshore and offshore as required;
· Ensure IVB involvement is clearly identified in applicable RFQ/PO’s to Equipment/Material Suppliers;
· Coordinate IVB survey visits for commissioning SCE and ECE witness points onshore
and offshore as required;
