The Role:
To ensure pressure vessels are isolated, cleaned, inspected and repaired safely and efficiently during the shutdown window.
• To manage the key service providers to ensure delivery of the above.
• To co-ordinate and monitor the progress and quality of all vessel inspection and repair works.
• To ensure that vessel inspection workpacks are completed in line with the Company OSCAR gate process.
• To ensure that contingent plans are in place to repair or replace shell, coatings, nozzles and internal fittings
• To ensure that all anomalies / non compliances identified during the course of inspection are risk assessed and appropriate mitigations and controls are implemented to limit threats to business, safety and environment.
• To actively intervene where appropriate to safeguard life, environment and assets. To escalate immediate and serious integrity threats in a timely and appropriate manner.
• To ensure that data generated in support of inspection activities is secure and maintained in an up to date and accessible format.
• To liaise with the Integrity Engineer, Mechanical and Process Technical Authorities, Fabric Maintenance Co-ordinator, Onshore and offshore operations personnel.
• Develop leading/lagging KPIs and initiatives to drive performance improvements.
• Liaise with contractors and contract management staff to prepare and review contracts, specifications and tenders as required.
• Complete contract audits in alignment with C&P requirements.
• To monitor and ensure compliance with Company standards and regulatory requirements.
• Support the preparation of work programmes and budgets.
• Timely preparation and submission of annual vessel inspection budgets taking account of all works requires to complete the scope of work.
• Ensure Purchase orders are placed before initiating work.
• Manage the annual vessel inspection budget expenditure and ensure costs and performance are reported monthly.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Must hold a full UKOOA or equivalent, offshore survival and medical to allow visits to offshore installations.
Unique Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Attribute
• Experience in offshore operations and maintenance.
• Actively involved in the coordination of shutdown activities either onshore or offshore.
• Experience in the management of vessel isolations, inspection and repairs with active involvement in the application of Cost, Planning & Execution.
• Demonstrate safety leadership and promote a safety culture amongst all personnel.
• Experience team leader.
• Proven ability to rigorously apply an effective process to a business critical area.
• Demonstrable understanding of UK Regulatory framework for the Offshore Oil & Gas Industry and experience.
• Knowledge of vessel degradation and defect mechanisms and repair options.
• Experience of presenting and communicationg to stakeholders.
