The Company:
Oil and Gas Operator in Houston TX

The Role:
Provide the primary communications link with the vessel’s Master in order to direct, monitor and continuously seek to improve the operational efficiency and onboard performance of the post fixture contract execution of each vessels voyage.

The position provides support and first line assistance to the Compatibility Superintendent with regard to all aspects of vessels ship-shore compatibility.

The jobholder must be able to demonstrate:

1) A thorough knowledge of the post fixture commercial operations process;
2) Demonstrable skills in optimization of vessel movements within the terms of standard Charter Parties;
3) An ability to independently manage tasks and problems in a fast paced and dynamic environment;
4) Sound leadership capabilities and the ability to work independently;
5) Key relationship and stakeholder management skills;
6) An ability to openly communicate with a broad stakeholder network whilst maintaining focus on task and deadlines;
7) Strong computer literacy including MS Word, Excel and Power Point competencies

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
1) Demonstrable experience in a Vessel Operator, Ship Operator and/or Voyage Manager role within an integrated supply and trading organization is essential;
2) Previous experience in managing post fixture operations of LNG and/or LPG vessels is desirable;
3) Previous experience running small high performing teams is desirable

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Previous marine experience, although not essential, is desirable;
