The Company:
Our Client is a global leader in the supply of facilities and services for the development and production of offshore oil and gas fields as well as the systems relevant to mooring technology. Due to rapid growth they require the best engineers available to support their operations world wide.

The Role:
Completion of vessel structural and piping construction activities excluding engine room in accordance with the project schedule and safety targets
+ Ensure safe working practices are actively promoted and encouraged at the construction yard workshops or work area.
+ Supervision of construction yard activities in accordance with the schedule and engineering documentation. Resolution of site queries. Ensure construction yard have available the latest engineering documentation. Supervision of as-built drawing completion. Ensure conversion engineering and build process is consistent with engineering and Quality documentation.
+ Review BOQ activities with conversion yard and ensure planning activities are consistent with BOQ structure.
+ Review and agree dry-dock dates and ensure the dry-dock scope is understood by all parties.
+ Prepare with the construction yard installation targets for plate renewal, pipe spools (fab, install, test) etc. Supervise activities in accordance with the schedule. Track and report progress and areas of concern. Ensure free issue materials are identified to the conversion yard and expedite delivery to the conversion yard on arrival at warehouse. Hull Supervisor is directly responsible for ensuring project critical piping ‘mechanical completion’ activities are carried out in accordance with the project schedule. Activities include fabrication, hydro-test, erection, flushing, re-instatement and leak test. Ensure accurate detailed piping OWL’s are prepared at module Load Out. Piping OWL’s must identify materials shortfalls and responsibilities for completion.
+ Supervision of the compilation and completion of the punch list by system ensuring responsible action parties are identified and agreed and that any materials required are identified and purchased. Verify timely preparation and completeness of fabricators MDR.
+ Assist Contracts Engineer in maintaining IOC records. Provide scope, engineering and/or cost input as required. Sign-off completed activities and report completed items to cost engineer.
+ Co-ordinate material receiving applicable under the System Responsibility Listing.
+ Co-ordinate ABS applicable under the System Responsibility Listing.
+ Co-ordinate material certification and VDB’s review and verification applicable under the System

Responsibility Listing.
+ Co-ordinates disciplined supervisors in the review and management of material applicable to their respect allocated systems, detailed in the SRL.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Degree qualified in related discipline
