The Company:
Our global leading client is seeking highly skilled, experienced & capable contract international employees to work on a large multinational complex oil & gas project.

The Role:
RESPONSIBILITIES & OBJECTIVES

• Maintain awareness of, and promote, project goals in respect of HS&E, QA, Schedule, and Technical Integrity, including Participation in regular audit activities.
• Commit Project and Contractor Management Teams to establish project strategies, philosophies and procedures to successfully execute the construction activities related to subsea installations, ensuring that Company corporate guidelines, shareholder expectations and project HS&E policies are reflected.
• Input into the Statement of Requirements (SOR) and Project Execution Plan (PEP) as required.
• Participate in project Risk analysis, HAZID/HAZOP activities.
• Ensure that Lessons Learned from earlier Caspian projects are appropriately considered and implemented where appropriate in all relevant Diving Support Vessel installation activities.
• Assist design Contractor on construction and installation issues.
• Assist in the evaluation of technical submissions for the upgrade and modification of vessels and associated offshore equipment.
• Review and input into long lead procurement and detailed upgrade scope of SOCAR fleet vessels for the project
• Review technical requirements from internal delivery teams.
• Manage studies and reviews performed by independent 3rd parties.
• Provide support to offshore operations during critical installation activities, commissioning periods, mobilisation etc.
• Input to the preparation and updating of control estimates.
• Provide input to Assurance Manager Risk Register.
• Monitor contractor’s reporting and investigate any anomalies.
• Lead by example in HSE, Quality and open communication with team and Contractors.
• Provide lead input into potential new build vessel for the project.
• Ensure asset availability to support project requirements.
• Ensure upgrade design meets the needs of the project.
• Manage preparation and updating of control

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
ACADEMIC/ EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
• Project Engineering - Vessel Upgrades/Conversions/New Builds
• Chartered Engineer/University degree or equivalent relevant qualification in Electrical Engineering
• Electrical operational experience on DP vessels
• Proven capability in assessing and evaluating risks and opportunities.
• Knowledge of QHS&E Management Systems.
• Strong presentation skills and software knowledge/competence.
• Good interpersonal skills in a multi-discipline, multi culture environment
