The Company:
Our global leading client is seeking highly skilled, experienced & capable contract international employees to work on a large multinational complex oil & gas project.

The Role:
Our client is seeking an experienced Vessel Upgrade Superintendent to manage the Major Projects Vessel Upgrade activities to achieve Major Projects delivery promises.
Manage all Vessel Upgrade PMT personnel and contractors to achieve HSE targets leading to a safe and efficient execution of all workscopes.

Manage interfaces within Marine and Subsea Group to ensure upgrade requirements for marine vessels are clearly identified, engineered and achievable.
Ensure that all upgrade related works are detailed against agreed and auditable CTR packages.
Ensure that all upgrade works are performed within budget and forecast timescale
Ensure that works associated with those CTR’s are adequately supervised and can take place in parallel alongside operational activities.
Implement HSE and QA methods to the vessel refurbishment and upgrades programme.
Manage QA interface with Marine Group Assurance Manager.
Manage project and installation contractor’s site supervision teams to ensure HSE targets are met and a safe working environment is provided for all refurbishment and upgrade works.
Provide reporting data to allow reconciliation of cost and progress data for the project management teams.
Provide support to offshore operations during critical installation activities, commissioning periods, mobilisation etc.

Responsibilities
Ensure asset availability to support project requirements.
Ensure upgrades suit the needs of vessel intended operations.
Manage preparation and updating of cost control estimates.
Manage preparation of cash flow planned actual and forecast curves.
Review and monitor cost activities to ensure deliverables are achieved.
Ensure that the production of cost reports for vessel upgrades is maintained
Develop and support the Vessel Upgrade Engineers and Site Representatives.
Identify risks and enter into project Risk Register.
Maintain site-reporting systems and provide input to project services management reports
Liaison with Vessel Upgrades Manager and Contracts Administrator regarding all cost / contract matters.

Participate in the development of effective interfaces between GPO Vessel Upgrades, SOCAR/KMNF
Monitor contractor’s reporting and investigate any anomalies
Ensure that lessons learned are appropriately considered in refurbishment and upgrade programs
Identify unresolved problems to the Vessel Upgrades Manager.
Review installation contractor’s technical proposals for refurbishment and upgrade programs to ensure they meet the requirements for offshore installation activities.
Create and encourage teamworking and harmony.

• Ensure liaison with vessel crew is maintained and their input maximised.

• Lead by example in HSE, Quality and open communication with team and Contractors.
