The Role:
The role of Vibration Technician will be based in Saudi Arabia and will be responsible for collecting vibration data at existing plants in the refinery, according with the routines scheduled in the vibration database.

Duties will include:
• Conduct different types of vibration measurements using FFT analyzers and data acquisition systems on rotating equipment.
• Analyze collected data to generate vibration spectrum and curves.
• Works closely with Reliability and Vibration Engineers to trouble-shoot potential problems and develop recommendations.
• Provide technical support to engineers during startups, solo run, shop test, etc.
• Conduct basic analysis at steady and transient state, using different kind of data collectors (CSI, SKF, Bently Nevada) as well as the software associated to the data collectors.
• Knowledgeable in Bently Nevada Data Manager and System 1 is preferred.
• Updated vibration group KPI’s.
• Performs high level data acquisition and reduction on major rotating equipment.
• Performs data analysis and troubleshooting on critical rotating equipment.
• Checks and adjusts calibration on major test instrumentation as required.
• Performs complex field balancing on critical rotating equipment as necessary.
• Interprets reports from on rotating equipment repairs.
• Provides technical guidance and work direction to a group of 2 to 3 Vibration Technicians.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Level 1 or 2 certification in Vibration Analysis, or equivalent experience
• Knowledge about different kind of machines (i.e. pumps, compressors, electric motors, turbines and so on).
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
• Demonstrated computer proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email)
• Some experience in troubleshooting and RCA.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Completion of ITC: English, ERW; Math, MI.
• Experience: 11 years, at least 7 of which should be in vibration field.
