The Role:
As PT NVH CAE Virtual Build Engineer you will be the prototype test engine build & installation Engineer. The virtual builds will need to be validated and analysed to ensure issue free installation into custom test beds.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have responsibility to virtual build engine dress parts in to test bed configuration. Design mounting systems to support the test rigs as they undergo NVH performance evaluation testing. Support engineers and fabricators with their CAD investigations: studies, screenshots, presentations to deliver successful manufacture of test rigs. Manage CAD interface with suppliers to ensure the component data is managed correctly through the design and rig build. Be capable of working at a high level of proficiency without high levels of supervision. Self-motivated with excellent team skills Good communications skills to enable design concepts to be manufactured into working test rigs. Awareness of vehicle and powertrain attribute requirements (e.g. NVH, Performance). Hypermesh/ANSA, Team Centre Engineering and MSC Nastran experience required Create, update and publish data within Teamcenter. Demonstrable understanding of AVBOM Detailed understanding or WERS releasing

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Conduct Modal analysis upon test rig designs to validate modal performance in the design stage.
