The Role:
Our Client is looking to appoint a VP of HSSE & Asset Integrity to be based in Dallas.

Responsible for setting goals, targets and principles in HSSE for the company. Developing and implementing management systems to meet or exceed shareholders requirements. Providing cross functional support to key business areas both with adequate resource and support to assist with the delivery of the business goals and objectives. Provides assurance that the asset integrity activities are safely, efficiently, and effectively delivered. In addition, ensures that company HSSE and Asset Integrity standards are adhered to and functional excellence is achieved. Provides technical service support to the field assets with a view to driving integrity and maintenance excellence and ultimately top quartile HSSE performance and operations efficiency.


Supervising and coordinating all regulatory compliance activities of the company group members.
• Managing compliance of each company group members with the HSSE & AI principles, the HSSE/AI plan, and the HSSE & Integrity management system.
• Establishing and managing a program to track greenhouse gas emissions from the assets.
• Assisting the President and General Manager with the preparation of that portion of each proposed Annual Work Program and Budget relating to the HSSE/AI activities to be performed pursuant to such proposed Annual Work Program and Budget.
• Establishing a rolling 5 year strategic HSSE/AI plan which aligns with the business planning process.
• Ensure that changes to federal or state legislation that may affect the business are actively monitored and reported to the President.
• Ensure that adequate resources are available to support the delivery of the identified elements of the HSSE/AI Principles and HSSE/AI Plan.
• Provide advice and guidance to all functional areas of the business in the area of HSSE/AI.
• Managing the HSSE assurance programme to the President & GM to ensure that HSSE issues are being adequately identified and managed.
• Ensure actions are taken to investigate incidents, analyse and act upon applicable lessons to be learnt bulletins.
• Lead Technical Authority within Asset providing assurance, verification, and compliance on asset integrity matters to functional teams.
• Ensure fitness of physical assets to maintain design intent over full life cycle and enable safe operations at all times.
• Lead identification and inspection of technical risk and eliminate risk or implement mitigation measures.
• Evaluate defects and non-conformance and provides an independent view to management of ongoing hazards and risk.
• Inspection and testing, including asset integrity audits and close out of actions.
• Lead best practice and interface with asset integrity teams in COMPANY Advance and EXCO.
• Implement strategies that strengthen asset integrity and process safety capabilities, utilizing technology as a key enabler to improve operational performance.
• Define the effective operation of asset integrity processes and procedures especially written schemes of examination.
• Undertake process hazards reviews and establish safety case with update.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
-Extensive experience in HSSE including local, state, and federal environmental regulations, implementation of safety programs, safety oversight of field operations, environmental impact surveys,
-Experience in operating onshore gas or oil producing facilities.
-Strong operations and Asset Integrity experience in Midstream or E&P / T&D, etc.
-Educated to first degree level or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
-Chartered Member of a relevant engineering discipline preferred.
-Knowledge of environmental regulations, occupational safety standards, asset integrity assurance processes, first aid, emergency response planning, and work site security.
-Knowledge of process plant, facilities, utilities, architecture and operation of gas and oil producing facilities.
