The Role:
The successful candidate will work in a multi-disciplined role providing support to each group within the overall function where workloads dictate. The main functions of the group encapsulate Good Receipt, Inventory, Shipping and Demobilisation activities.

This is a contract position for a period of 6 months with possible review thereafter.


Key duties include:
Ensures materials and equipment are controlled and processed in accordance with the relevant
company process and procedure relevant to the function.
Proactive in the application of Health & Safety in carrying out duties and contributes to the application of Health & Safety matters within the department.
Must be flexible in approach to work and possess the ability to manage changes in priorities as and when business or client needs dictates.
Team work and the desire to assist other team members when required is an important part of
this role.
Interfaces with other members of the Materials & Logistics, Operational Support and Equipment Management teams.
Must be conscientious in the control of documentation and display good working practices in keeping work areas clean and tidy.
Assist with other duties as defined by appropriate supervisor.
Learn the various functions of the overall group to allow a multi-discipline approach.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
A good general education is essential
Can articulate learning and training experiences.
Ability to work safely and as part of a team is essential
Must be computer literate and be conversant in the use of email and standard windows applications.
Experience of SAP Materials applications would be an advantage
Good organisational skills and smart working methods
Presents self in a professional manner appropriate to the role
Articulates views in a comprehensive manner and possess the ability to effectively communicate with all levels within the company
Produces work of presentable quality
Previous experience at an appropriate level working within a warehouse environment is essential.
Experience in one of the main functions (Goods Receipt, Inventory, Shipping and Demobilisation) and willingness to develop skills in the other areas is essential.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Experience in handling Dangerous goods by air / sea and familiarity with Customs & Excise formalities would be desirable.
Knowledge of current UK Oil & Gas guidelines would be desirable
Manual handling activities are a key feature of this role.
Must be physically fit for required position subject to reasonable adjustments
