The Company:
Is a leading Automotive manufacturer with a reputation for outstanding quality the world over. With demand increasing and an upturn in production, there is a need to bring further skills into the business to deliver on current and future projects.

The Role:
Scope
Responsible for managing warehouse operations infrastructure, to satisfy the needs of the worldwide dealer network and their customer, in line with agreed Company strategy and Company Goals. And, simultaneously acting as a knowledge source for the business to assist the drive for improvement in service provision and customer satisfaction.

This role is responsible for the management, the actions and performance of the Aftersales warehouse teams, working closely with the Aftersales logistics manager, and with all other Aftersales functions, finance, wider Sales and Marketing, Quality warranty recovery, Site engineering and third party service providers.


Key Responsibilities
1. Accountability for Warehouse Operations including:-
Accuracy processing through Receiving, Pre-Pack, Put away, order picking and packing
Achievement of on time order readiness against Global shipment cut-off times commitments, that meet customer expectations
Management with Third party providers of; - Handling equipment, Warehouse buildings, Facilities, and services. Including contribution to supplier nomination / selection
2. Financial management responsibilities including;
Contribution, presentation and tracking of budgets and expenditures; coordination with team members to prioritize efforts and rationalize budget items, for Planning Rounds, and identify shortfalls and develop proposals for change
Analysis of warehouse related Parts returns, and development of processes to deliver improvements to non conformance costs and customer satisfaction
3. Management and development of facility controls to support supply Chain compliance, including Aviation security, C-TPAT (USA), AEO (European)

4. Management and development of Warehouse team including training needs assessment, process improvements, Individual and team performance growth

5. Management and process improvement of Sales & Marketing Warehouse solutions including;
Optimize cost savings and business improvement, including Marketing collateral
Branded goods (dealer and direct to customer Internet), supporting branded goods business growth plans
Manage market specific processes to delivery customer satisfaction and financial goals e.g. Regulatory compliant packaging and labelling per customer country
Manage and improve robust and consistent Warehouse support processes
Ensure internal suppliers and customer are fully represented and reflected
Contribute to, and manage appropriate methodologies to interface at different levels within the Network (Importers / Direct to Dealer/ Group NSC)


Qualifications
Educated to HND / degree level or equivalent professional qualification e.g. Chartered Institute of Logistics

Previous Experience
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Demonstrable experience in warehouse management, preferably with global experience
Warehousing experience demonstrated at either factory, Aftersales or importer level
Budget tracking, control and improvement
Demonstrated experience in operations process design, continuous improvement and optimisation
Demonstrated team development and management
PRACTICAL & TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE

Warehouse related legislation, including Handling equipment
TS16949 or equivalent standards
