The Company:
International Oil and Gas Water Treatment Company

The Role:
The supervision of staff and the responsibility for logistics operations from the receipt of inventory, picking/packing & shipment of goods to our customers and distributors. This position will make sure all warehouse staff follow best practice activities and effectively carry out their respective roles to insure on-time delivery (without picking issues), general inventory validation, cycle counts, annual stock-take, health & safety compliance, administration, maintaining and auditing control of remote stock locations.

• Processing and controlling pick lists in a timely and regimental manner.
• Booking couriers and making sure we deliver goods in time with customer expectations while controlling the cost of transportation and packaging.

• Assisting procurement in ordering materials from our manufacturing facility in the UK and helping to schedule sea container deliveries (currently every 2 weeks)
• Receiving returned goods for credit or warranty using RMA system and working with the Technical support department.
• Manage stocktaking and implement regular cycle counts as required.
• Maintain a clean and tidy warehouse at all times, keeping isles clear and safe.
• Maintaining all warehouse machinery to avoid any health and safety concerns, managing the routine service for forklift trucks and equipment. to limit down time.
• Be responsible for the facilities safety equipment, first aid kits, eye wash stations, PPE, SDS, notices and placards indicating important safety information.
• Helping to manage a rolling forecast to maximize stocking values, reviewing out of date stock and low turnover items.
• Contacting different freight company’s and measuring costs against current delivery providers, making sure we have back-up plans should an importer/exporter or local delivery company start rising prices or cannot provide the service we need.
• General Office/Warehouse duties as required.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• +8 years’ experience of working in a senior warehouse role and to demonstrated ability to work as part of a team.
• Customer focused with polite friendly nature.
• Administration skills are necessary with a working knowledge and understanding of the logistic process including MRP.
• Proficient in Math
• Intermediate Microsoft Office (Excel experience is essential)
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to deliver high-quality work.
• Experience with JD Edwards based Logistic environment an advantage (must be willing to learn and master JD Edwards for our business processes).
• Fluent with Internet technology (browsers, search engines, etc.).
• Forklift license (Stand-up)
• HAZMAT trained shipping and receiving person is preferred (Training will be provided).
