The Company:
Is a leading Automotive manufacturer and is currently experiencing an upturn in production with demand increasing globally.

The Role:
Our main role is to support R&D to make fix market concerns and prevent reoccurrence of Quality concerns on future models.

Main Responsibilities:
Managing Quality concerns related to design and specification.
Carry out complex technical investigations and deploy countermeasure actions that improve vehicle, reduce Warranty cost and improve customer satisfaction.
Use in-house systems to collect market data and incident parts.
Travel to incident vehicles, operational environment and actual customer concerns.
Take a hand on approach to locally re producing concerns and analysing defective parts.
To take investigation beyond the existing company available information.
Preparing reports and presentation problem status and future planned activities to senior managers internally and externally.
Lead, manage multiple cross functional teams to establish cause(S) of major Quality issues.
Continuously liaise with Service, Factory and Design side.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
University degree in Automotive/ Mechanical engineering or equivalent a must
Demonstrable hands on Problem solving skills in chassis Brakes/ Suspension
Some experience in data logging
Excellent PC skills – particularly Excel and Power point
CATIA V5 2D/3D skills are advantage
Be proactive and demonstrate high level of self motivation to deliver.
You will need to have a flexible attitude
An adept communicator, be able to build good relationships across all cultures both internally and externally

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
The role will require travel to overseas and on occasions at short notice therefore a Passport which enables rapid response to travelling in Europe is required.
