The Role:
The Ohio Waste Management Coordinator is multi-functional role responsible for assisting with the delivery of the highest levels of waste management performance standards around all operated activities in Ohio.

The purpose of the role is to represent and reinforce company values and standards. It is to help drive and implement Ohio Waste Management Policy and ensure regulatory compliance in all aspects of the role as follows;

a) Demonstrate leadership by assisting with the implementation of company Ohio Waste Management policies and procedures.
b) Ensure the operated facilities are in full compliance with all aspects of the company Waste Management Policy and Ohio Regulations.
c) To monitor cost expenditure through effective planning, daily proactive thinking and communication with all parties to ensure the efficient utilization of resources and equipment.


5) KEY TASKS / RESPONSIBILITIES

• Serve as the recognized point of reference for all waste matters in Ohio.
• Liaise with all business partners; to include Operations, Drilling and Completions and Global Supply Chain with all matters pertaining to Waste
• Periodically monitor and audit the Waste Management practices at operated locations ensuring the onsite Responsible Representatives are performing their tasks in accordance with the Ohio Waste Management Policy and are in compliance with all Ohio Regulations as it pertains to waste.
• Provide guidance as necessary to on-site Responsible Representatives on acceptable methods to manage waste generation, storage, and shipping for Ohio Operations. This includes assistance with onboarding of waste facilities, audits (initial and periodic follow ups), maintenance, and inspections of waste storage units.
• Assist the Responsible Representatives on location to identify and characterize new waste streams and generate waste profiles with outside assistance as necessary.
• Through initial onboarding and periodic audits and with the assistance of Global Supply Chain; verify that transporters and disposal/treatment contractors used for waste management are set up in the Corporate Contract Management System and ensure they are in full compliance of all regulatory requirements.
• Track the overall waste generation and accumulation on the Utica Project to verify generator status.
• Assist with the proper maintenance of waste records (notifications, generation/accumulation tracking, waste characterization, inspection, manifests, disposal/treatment certifications, tolling agreement contracts, etc.) in accordance with the Ohio Waste Management Plan.
• Assist with Waste data entry in the Corporate Waste Tracking System for all Ohio Operations.
• Prepare any required agency notifications or reports for review and gain approval by EHS Supervisor as necessary.
• Serve as point of contact between company and Waste Disposal Facilities/Waste Contractors and establish and maintain a positive business relationship.
• Ensure all operated sites are equipped to handle any loss of containment issues (on-site spill kits, drums, spill pallets etc.)
• Special Waste projects as necessary.
