The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia.

The Role:
Support ABU Waste Management Contract Project Manager to progress deliverables, this includes preparation of technical deliverables, tender evaluation, contract documents for awarding the contract at the end of Phase 4.

Provide technical support to the Waste Management Contract Project Phase 4 activities, including:
• Day to day support to the Project Manager particularly in relation to the waste technical and commercial aspects of the project.
• Assisting with the preparation of project specific deliverables as defined by the schedule and project execution plan particularly:-
• Scope of Works – validated data and categories
• Tender Documents – as defined in standard processes
• Tender evaluation criteria -
• Tender evaluation -
• Working with the contracts advisor and legal counsel in commercial negotiations with tenderers through to ready for award.
• Full understanding of corporate standards and document any compliance related issues
• Working closely with interdependent waste management projects (e.g. WA Oil, D&C, Projects) to ensure interdependencies are identified and managed in order to minimise disruptions to the objectives and schedule.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Engineering or Environmental Science Degree Post grad business qualification desirable
20 years + in waste management industry in both public and private sectors.
Demonstrated practical experience in working with Western Australia state, regional and local government agencies associated with waste management.
Thorough understanding of Western Australian regulations and local conditions (resources, infrastructure, long term outlook).
Demonstrated technical knowledge and experience in assessing the capability of waste management providers through to contract award.
Demonstrated practical experience in commercial arrangements and negotiations for large scale complex integrated waste management contracts.
Experience in progressing project through project phases is highly desirable.
Proven communication skill, attention to details,team player.
Ability to coordinate complex interdependent activities meeting target milestones.
