The Role:
The 2 x 50 MW CFB power station located in Kampenh, Preah Sihanouk, Cambodia situated 30 minutes from Sihanoukville. The plant has been in operation since December 2013 and the personnel would be working for the Owner.
It is expected that the interview take place during October2016, with the new staff mobilising to site during November 2016.

Reporting to: General Manager/Plant Manager
Purpose of the Job: Responsible for coordinating operations activities, to coordinate with the Maintenance department, troubleshooting and to provide leadership to the plant operators.

Monitor plant performance and ensure equipment is operated in compliance with the operating standards and procedures.
Review shift reports and operating records, report abnormalities to the Operation Manager and ensure corrective action is taken.
Conduct regular plant inspections and review and monitor the operators’ inspection records.
Supervise and coordinate the daily operation of the section.
Coordinate with the Technical Department to ensure compliance with quality and environmental standards.
Ensure effective communication between management and the operating shifts.
Provide management with information that is accurate and timely to permit them to anticipate problems, recognise opportunities, and ensure effective decisions and actions.
Assist the shifts during unscheduled and emergency situations.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Bachelor degree or suitable technical qualification in mechanical or chemical engineering.
Minimum 12 years experience of Coal/CFB/Thermal Fired Power Plants operations experience, of which at least 5 years in an equivalent position.
Extensive knowledge of demin water plant, waste water plant and raw water plant operating procedures, codes and standards.
Extensive knowledge of balance of plant systems such as fire fighting systems, compressed air systems and cooling water supply systems.
Good overall knowledge of power plant operations.
Good computer skills with working knowledge of MS products (Word and Excel).
