The Company:
Our Client's fabrication capabilities providing quality fabrication, site services, and vessel mobilisations to the Subsea and Marine Industries
The site offers large undercover fabrication and painting halls, external fabrication capability and quayside frontage.
The company also offer project management and design capabilities.
The group can now provide a complete service from project management, design, procurement, fabrication, commissioning and testing through to loadout and delivery.

The Role:
The Welding Engineer role is to provide Welding Engineering and Quality Engineering support. This will involve acting as lead support on all welding related activities across the Group.

Role Specific Responsibilities/Tasks:

- Specification interpretation.
- Welding Development.
- Receive Welding Audits.
- Conduct Welding audits.
- WPS Development.
- PQR Development.
- Welder qualifications.
- Defect analysis.
- Corrective action.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- Engineering Materials Science or equivalent qualifications.
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Welding Engineer in an offshore/construction environment.
- Ability to communicate in a positive manner with all departmental personnel
- An understanding of company Quality, Safety, Health & Environmental systems & programmes
- Planning & Organisational skills that enable the implementation of his duties and the company strategy.
