The Company:

The Role:
Ensure that Welding & NDT/ NDE activities for all disciplines are planned, performed and documented in accordance with the project specifications.

Ensure that main steel and outfitting steel scope related to construction is planned, performed and documented in accordance with the Contract Specifications.

Point of Accountability (SPA) on site for responding /coordinating all matters related to welding and metallurgical aspects of materials

Technical queries and other welding/metallurgical issues

High level of technical expertise in comprehending and interpreting engineering & construction specifications, reports, drawings, and other technical documents

Practical knowledge of mechanical properties and welding metallurgies for carbon steel, various alloys and cladding materials

Practical knowledge of quality assurance & control systems and destructive/non-destructive methods and equipment

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Bachelor degree or similar within structure, materials or welding
Minimum 5 years’ experience from offshore construction
EWE Competence or similar
Certified Welding Inspector according to NS 477.
Fabrication yard construction discipline experience.
