The Company:
The company designs, constructs, transports, installs and removes offshore facilities for the global oil and gas industry. During the last decades they have become a significant international player in the offshore oil and gas construction industry. The Group consists of two divisions, each with a specific role in the activities of the Group

The Role:
Function:
Direction of workforce in line with planned activities

Responsibilities:

• To ensure adherence to the Company Policy, procedures and Handbook.
• Quality, Safety, Health and Environmental awareness (e.g. responsible for own and others safety).
• To perform tasks which may be requested by Management.
• To take ownership for the Quality, Health. Safety and Wellbeing of the personnel under their control.
• To perform tasks delegated by the Site Supervisor.
• To monitor production hours against planned hours.
• To maintain disciple on the shop floor in line with Company procedure.
• To conduct daily pre-start Toolbox Talks.
• To participate in the monthly supervisors SHE Inspections.
• To indentify potential hazards and discuss them during the JSA when giving out the day’s work.
• To ensure correct implementation of the company quality, safety, health and environmental policy within the company and verify that the company quality, safety and environmental procedures are followed.
• To identify and report possible quality and safety problems to the Production Senior Supervisor and recommend possible solutions for such problems.
• To coordinate activities within their discipline.
• To ensure Cable Management and housekeeping.
• To assist with the determination of fabrication sequences.
• Carry our appraisals as per matrix.
• To perform Safety Intervention Discussion (SID) providing that training has been completed.
• Individual risk awareness within job role.
• Identify and highlight any further training requirements of their personnel.
• The Welding Supervisor is responsible for visual inspection of completed welds (CSWIP).
• The Plating Supervisor is responsible for weld set-up as identified in the project ITP.


Authority:

• To delegate tasks under their responsibility.
• To instruct personnel within his field of responsibility

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Competency Requirements:

• Successful SHE Induction.
• Technical school for vocational training, basic level qualifications.
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a production employee in the applicable discipline.
• An understanding of company quality, safety, health and environmental systems and programmes.
• Communicate in a positive manner with subordinate staff and departmental managers.
• Planning and Organisational skills that enable the implementation of the company strategy.
• CSWIP 3.0
• Time served Apprenticeship or recognised equivalent.
