The Role:
Purpose: Provide technical support and assistance to New Ventures Wells Team. Specific responsibilities of the role will depend on nature if the work scope assigned to the team, but typical aspects of the position will include:

Accountability:
• Carry out external benchmarking analysis of well plans or actual well performance data;
• Manage quality control of data entry;
• Participate in preparation of business plan and strategy documents and presentations for Wells VPs;
• Contribute to the authorship of technical papers and coordinate input to well or completion engineering documentation;
• Collate information related to Wells Integrity and Assurance. Track implementation of eWCAT, EDM, MOC process etc;
• Support Contract Holders in contract management (both drilling and CWI) where applicable;
• Well Performance management – assist in building of well time and cost estimates and track same as Well operations take place;
• Assist in implementing and maintaining venture specific project plans such as PCAPs, aligned with End to End Hydrocarbon Maturation process and Global Wells requirements;
• Assist assets in developing asset specific Better to Best plans that include at a minimum elements of the GWDP value creation events, internal/external benchmarks, and deliberate plans for the integration of
various expertise holders;
• Prepare weekly/ monthly /quarterly management (performance) reporting;
• Manage data streams and be responsible for data management within team;
• Optional: Provide technical input to Wells or Completion design and/or execution activities.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Technical education to diploma level or higher;
• Five years or more working in a technical role (ideally in the upstream oil and gas sector);.
• Strong proficiency in MicroSoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Project;
• Ideally Wells related experience.
