The Role:
Position Summary
Overall purpose of the role is to maintain, monitor and report on all parts of the well operating envelope when in the production life of the well phase.

Key Accountabilities
• To manage the well integrity as per the company's Well Integrity Management System (WIMS), adhere to government legislation and work within the agreed budget
• Maintain, review and update the assets WIMS
• Monitor trends, analysing and reporting on the integrity status of the assets well stock in combination with the company approved well integrity software application.
• Report to senior management any well integrity related issues in consultation with other disciplines when necessary.
• Ensure that the integrity status of every well is up-to-date and that issues and deficiencies are documented, reported and ultimately resolved.
• Maintain a high standard in well integrity by reviewing, reporting and planning for corrective action in consultation with relevant stakeholders.
• Liaise with sub-contractor management to ensure best value from wellhead servicing and repair campaigns
• Provide well integrity technical support and liaise, when required, with internal and external HSSE Inspectors, Well Examiners and Auditors as required.
• Ensure that all wells are operated as per the assets WIMS and the company’s well engineering standards.
• Communicate and consult with the technical authorities located at company’s headquarters with regards to dispensations and other well integrity issues and well status.
• Coordinate and plan routine and non-routine well integrity testing and maintenance ensuring that all relevant data has been collated, documented and included in
• Initiate QRA assessments against the assets well integrity management system as and when required.
• Carry out risk assessments and implement the company’s dispensation process for non-compliant / failed well integrity related issues.
• Complete the quarterly and annual well integrity reports to asset senior management and company headquarters.
• Carry out audits on assets well integrity sub-contractors onshore and offshore with regards to competency and QA/QC
In addition to above, the job position would also support the following requirements relevant to well integrity:
• Assist well engineers in planning/programming various well intervention operations.
• Keep Well Integrity Management System current and identify any deviations
• Monitor and follow up the remedial plans identified for restoration of well integrity
• Mentor less experienced engineers with regards to well integrity and intervention
• Super user for well integrity database software IWIT
• Offshore visits will be required for the position.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Well engineering and well construction
• Well completion
• Well interventions
• Wellhead maintenance/well operations
• Degree in engineering (Mechanical/petroleum/chemical)
• Self motivated, collaborative and delivery focused
• Good Communication Skills verbal and written
• Computer literate
