The Role:
Well Service Supervisor
• The job holder works with Senior Well Services Supervisor to functionally report to Senior Well Services Engineer.
• The job holder is responsible to ensure execution of planned well servicing activities (e.g. Well Start-Up campaign, normal well servicing operation under field production) following specific job objectives, as well as assist in preparation of operation post mortem and lessons learned, in compliance with CPOC’s HSE policies and industrial standards.
• The job holder is required to liaise with concerned parties to optimize coordination for best possible operation supports.
• Direct, supervise and coordinate the work to ensure that all assigned well servicing operations are managed and conducted following safe, efficient procedures in accordance with the Company’s HSE policies and industrial standards:
• Assume supervisory duties to exercise authority at the level established by the Management for the position to ensure that the operation objectives of the work program are fully met, and that the operation is carried out as per work programs safely and professionally by the operational contractors through optimum approach for both efficiency and cost effectiveness.
• Lead daily operations and render day-to-day detailed work instructions to the working teams on-site.
• Verify that all Well Services equipment is in good condition, function/pressure tested, and certified following Company’s standards and/or specific instructions. Prior to any operation, ensure all pressures of interest are verified and recorded for reference.
• Ensure readiness of necessary well control equipment on-site during well servicing operations. Witness and validate depth correlation for accurate perforating as programmed.
• Report directly to Senior Well Services Engineer on the current progress of daily operations.
• Coordinate with contractors and relevant concerned departments within COMPANY offshore and onshore to ensure that all Well Services materials are properly controlled and managed to meet the work requirements:
• Prepare all administration documents and keep good track of equipment movements in order to obtain optimum usage of equipment, especially those on rental.
• Ensure good inventory of COMPANY’s and CONTRACTORS’ equipment at the site for correct stock realization.
• Ensure proper storage, handling and transportation of materials to avoid risk of premature equipment damage.
• Collaborate with Senior Well Services Engineer to provide tools and equipment required for the well servicing operations.
• Coordinate with the contractors for shipment of contracted equipment offshore and onshore.
• Promote and ensure good working relationship within concerned offshore organizations.
• Compile and summarize well servicing operations, and report any operation failures/problems to Senior Well Services Engineer for further decision-making for solutions:
• Follow up with daily operations constantly and submit proper reports through hierarchical channels. Also, update WILD database accordingly.
• Keep constant feedback of the operation and advise when necessary if the work program needs to be adjusted due to well condition.
• In case of anomaly, report immediately and propose course of actions.
• Promote reporting of near-miss incidents or accidents and motivate all personnel to give thorough details for clear understanding and more efficient prevention of reoccurrence.
• Liaise with all related departments to ensure that all relevant information pertaining to the operation is passed to all field personnel involved including contractors by conducting pre-job assessment meeting when necessary.
• Enhance the implementation, enforcement, development and updating of Well Services safety and operating procedures:
• Guarantee a high HSE standard of the personnel according to COMPANY’s HSE rules and regulations, promoting regular HSE meetings as well as ensure that the operation is within respect of COMPANY’s HSE operating procedures.
• Provide necessary input for technical improvements on execution of well servicing operations as well as the COMPANY’s know-how via information technology and training.
• Supervise, train and develop Company personnel to gain more job knowledge and supervisory skills as and when required.
• Prepare written handover to back-to-back counterpart briefing the main events with list of actions to follow.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or significant relevant work experience in Well Services.
• 5 years work experience primarily in well servicing operations with good knowledge of slickline, electric-line, well testing and other well interventions.
• Strong drive & focus, positive attitude and proactive team member.
• Self-starter, strong problem-solving ability and always looking for efficient operational answers.
• Mentoring and coaching of less experienced members.
• Good presenter with strong communication skills.
• Good understanding of HSE.
