The Role:
•Provide technical support on well integrity, intervention and completion operations
•Onshore planning and co-ordination of all well intervention activities to safely and efficiently plan, co-ordinate and execute those activities, including
oInput to the well intervention schedule
oPreparation of well intervention work programmes
oSpecification of suitable equipment for intervention activities
oPrepare notifications to HSE, DECC for applicable operations and ensuring compliance with the applicable UK legislation (DCR, PUWER, LOLER, etc.)
oCo-ordinate 3rd party suppliers to ensure equipment and personnel are at well site when required
oCost estimating and monitoring
•Technical support and advice to production operations and technical personnel as required
•As required, work offshore,
oin the role of offshore WSS, reporting to Installation OIM with Functional Report requirement to Well Intervention Supt
oto support workover / completion activities under the responsibility of the Drilling Supervisor

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•Minimum of Trade Qualifications such as City and Guilds Craftsman Certificate. Ordinary or Higher National Certificate (ONC / HNC) in mechanical or electrical disciplines preferable.
•Valid IWCF Well Control Certification mandatory.
•Valid Sea Survival Certification as per UKOOA requirements.
•Valid Medical Certificate for offshore work in UK.
•Experience of offshore work experience in a well-related skills area either for a Service Company or a Major Oil Operator
•Thorough and detailed knowledge of all offshore Well Service activities, together with familiarity in regard to the Drilling and Production Operations which overlap into the Well Services area.
•Knowledge of risk management at a task level with the ability to recognise situations where a higher level of risk analysis is necessary.
•Knowledge of current UK Legislation – e.g.; COSHH, PUWER etc., together with practical experience in ensuring compliance to such legislation.
•Thorough knowledge and demonstrated compet
