The Role:
Attend onshore risk assessments and Well on Paper exercises.
Monitor onshore S.I.T.’s and completion component testing/verification
Ensure all well operations are carried out in compliance with company operational programs and well policies.
Work onshore between the office and various vendors yards to check and prepare equipment for offshore operations under the guidance of the Completions Engineers.
Work closely with the subsea Xmas Tree engineers on the rig to ensure interfaces between completion and intervention equipment and subsea packages are managed.
Collate the daily reports from the service companies and supply the information to the drilling supervisor.
Report to the drilling supervisor during completion or intervention activities.
Chair Tool Box Talk meetings and brief crews as to the immediate programme steps.
Produce written instructions to completions / intervention team.
Ensure that records of all completion well services equipment are properly documented
Ensure crews work efficiently to minimise well down time.
Through close supervision, promote operational excellence during down hole operations.
Monitor contractor performance and liaise with contractor to optimise same
Capture lessons learned and feed back to the onshore engineer.
Encourage all crewmembers to contribute to all aspects involved in the safe and efficient execution of well operations and the rig safety systems.
To maintain accurate well records and compile end of job reports to ensure lessons learned are conveyed across company approved systems.
Prepare in-hole tallies during completion operations.
Assist the Planning Team Leader with initial cost / time estimates.
Active participation, promotion and development of the Company Safety and Environment policies
Compile the well services daily report or provide information into the daily drilling report and ensure it is distributed.
Attend regular meetings and update the crew and rig management with programme progress or problems encountered over last 24 hours. Chair offshore Well Service safety meetings during campaigns.
Document and issue minutes of the meetings held
Carry out audits of well service crews to ensure they are working safely and are operating to the rig and company requirements.
Record all non conformances and non production time and update these to the drilling supervisor.
Assist the Completions Engineer with programme reviews.
Prepare load out lists and liaise with the logistics supervisor on the rig to ensure equipment movements are efficient with a view to maintain good cost control.
Confirm the supply of Services is as per call-off.
Track daily costs.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Platform Completions and Workovers experience is essential.
Must have Subsea experience.
Extensive experience in completions and Interventions.
Some of which preferably with a major operator offshore as a Completions or Well Services Supervisor.
Will require extensive knowledge and be familiar with all types of completion and intervention techniques.
IWCF Certification, MIST Training, Offshore Survival, Current medical

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Extensive knowledge and experience of Well Service operations
Knowledge of WellCAT, Wellplan and Prosper an advantage.
Subsea experience is also advantageous.
Preferably an engineering qualification (HNC or Equivalent)
