A leading Australian coal seam gas explorer and producer focused on developing its world-class reserves for domestic and international supply.

The Role:
- 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off roster
- 12 month contract to start
- Surat Basin CSG project

Our Client is a leading Australian coal seam gas explorer and producer focused on developing its world-class reserves for domestic and international supply.
The Well Site Supervisor – Completions will lead and supervise well completions, workovers and interventions at the well site, ensuring all completion and work over operations are delivered safely, efficiently, within budget, and to plan. Your other key responsibilities will include:

- As defined by the QLD petroleum and Gas Act 2004, take responsibility as Site Safety Manager, as well as ensuring each person on site has completed all required inductions (Client and rig specific), has all the required certifications, and has access to all the required safety and first aid equipment;
- Ensure that safety is of the utmost priority for operational planning and execution, and in all interactions with contractors and service providers;
- Supervise the work of the workover contractors and service providers to ensure compliance to service contracts;
- Provide technical advice and troubleshooting for well planning, design and operational issues, and provide feedback to the Well Services Superintendent;
- Assure an equipment assurance programme is in place and ensure daily testing, monitoring, equipment inspections and process compliance; and
- Accurately report on all well activities including detailed cost tracking.

With the current right to work in Australia, other minimum requirements include several years of field based experience in completions / workovers / well servicing, including the management of wellsite contractors and the provision of visible safety leadership and technical troubleshooting across site. You also hold extensive emergency response management skills as well as strong working knowledge of the Petroleum and Gas (Production & Safety) Act 2004, Petroleum and Gas (Production & safety) Regulation 2004, and the Work Health and safety Act 2011.
