The Company:
A leading Australian coal seam gas explorer and producer focused on developing its world-class reserves for domestic and international supply.

The Role:
The Well Site Supervisor – will lead and supervise drilling operations at the well site, ensuring all drilling operations are delivered safely, efficiently, within budget, and to plan.

Location: Surat Basin
3/3 Rotational assignment
Contract: 12 months to start

As Well Site Supervisor you will ensure drilling operations are conducted in agreement with programmed instructions and good oilfield practice.
The scope of the role includes providing advice on the suitability, from time to time, of the rig and other equipment to commence or continue to operate and also implementing the Drilling programs through liaison with Rig manager or Driller and crew at the daily tool box meeting

You will be responsible for:
 The Sign-off contractor daily tickets, service company tickets, material delivery tickets, confirming that the tickets are accurate and in line with the contract under which the services or materials are supplied
 Arranging trucking of materials, drilling water and drinking water in a timely manner
 Arranging for material transfers of equipment (drill bits, casing equipment and stationary) to and from rig and warehouse
 Ensure the quality of drilling fluids and monitor fluid weights
 Ensure all casing drifts and other well site testing or safety equipment are in calibration
 Direct and monitor pressure testing
 Ensure correct wellhead installation and integrity
 Ensure down hole and other equipment is correctly dressed and check shear ratings and record
 Ensure the correct tools for the job and they have been serviced or are of good quality. Do not allow the use of inferior equipment
 Provide quality control over equipment and materials utilized in the well. Record model and serial numbers
 Ensure that adequate quantities of materials and equipment are delivered to the well site as required for the operation

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• BOP ticket – supervisor level, international standard
• Cementing techniques
• Drilling / well servicing background
• Knowledge of OHS Act, Petroleum and Gas Act
• Supervision of contractors
• Drilling or completion rig background
• Field operator Experience
