The Company:
Our client is an integrated global energy company with vast sector experience. It carries out Upstream and Downstream activities throughout the entire world.

The Role:
• Accountable for all aspects of well testing operations and activities covering planning, equipment, personnel and third party equipment.
• Responsible for supporting the day to day well intervention operations and planning routine Well Test Programmes in line with company, safety and industry standards.
• Prepare operational well testing programs, plans and procedures, using appropriate inputs.
• Assess the risks involved in well testing operations and provide a range of suitable options to achieve the objectives.
• Prepare well testing options for production wells.
• Prepare schedule for approved programs, prepare cost estimate, and prepare operative programs and risk assessment.
• Maintains a tracker of the key performance details of all tested wells.
• Perform technical analyses of well test operational activities to ensure conformance with approved programs and to identify and propose optimisation measures.
• Monitor the latest technological developments and initiate the application of promising ones.
• Contribute to the planning to optimize operation procedures and safety.
• Assist, witness and supervise : tubing tally preparation, test surface testing equipment, DST –TCP operations, etc.
• Liaises with Drilling supervisor ensure they are fully aware of the operations.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• University Degree or Higher National Diploma in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline
• At least 10 years of experience as Well test Engineer including operational and engineering or technical support role
• Well Control Certification.
• Prior experience with high pressure and gas wells.
• Good skills with PC in Windows environment.
• Have ability to work with Landmark OPEN WELL.
• Very good oral, presentation and written communication skills in English/French. Must be able to communicate efficiently with a variety of nationalities and educational levels.
• Technical and Engineering knowledge associated with Surface Testing Systems

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
The job is on a 28/28 rotation
