The Company:
Our client is the largest gas producer in the Netherlands, with annual production of around 50 billion m³. 70 % of gas (37 billion m³) comes from the Groningen field and the rest from various smaller fields elsewhere on the mainland and in the North Sea (15 billion m³).

The Role:
Purpose of job
Coordinate the full life-cycle of SAP material used in Wells from planning of materials to delivery to the drilling installation and the management of surplus materials to either stock or disposal.

Primary accountabilities are:
Coordinate the creation of SAP Material Masters for well materials when required and liaise with the SAP Catalog Team to ensure timely delivery. This should be authorized by the technical authority and in conjunction with the inventory team and contract specialist.
Enter required materials into the relevant (net) work orders for the associated projects. These items must be requested with accurate required on site dates and delivery points. Update/change the material listing as and when required. Liaise with the inventory team, advising of creations/additions/reductions.
The requirement for materials to go offshore will be given by the Offshore Logistics Coordinator on the Lookahead Planner. The Materials Coordinator will ensure that the right material is specified and called off to the drilling installation using the standard SAP logistics delivery process.
Build the shipping requirements into the Rig Logistics Management System by using SAP generated deliveries. This is Norway specific for now.
Work in conjunction with the materials team and the contractors to provide well engineer confidence that the material supply is fulfilling their needs (onsite on time) and to co-ordinate any unplanned demands
Ensure that all material movements are processed on a timely basis (within 24hrs).
All surplus material being returned from the rig must be advised to the inventory team within 24 hrs of receipt. A decision on either return to stock (including after repair), transfer to another project or disposal will be provided by the inventory team.
Work with the Finance Analyst and inventory team to ensure that the reconsiliation of the delivery/return material is correctly accounted for in SAP (Finance Responsibility, Material Coordinator to support in the process).
Confirm materials returned to vendors or Shell warehouse/yard and that it is correctly shown in the SAP system.
Lead / Conduct (annual) stock checks at contractors premises, with support of CH, CS, Inv. Team?

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Logistics discipline education.
Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics operations, including site experience, familiar with drilling and completion equipment, materials administration.
SAP experience or use of similar data systems.
Experienced user of Excel, Word and other PC software.
Fluent in English and language of country of employment.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Office based position, duty rotation for weekends (Onshore Logistics Coordinator duty)
