The Role:
The Wells Performance Analyst, reporting to the North Sea Wells Performance Lead, is primarily responsible for collating, analysing and presenting drilling, completions, well interventions and decommissioning performance data in support of the Company’s commitment to safety and operational excellence.
Collating, reporting and providing insights into North Sea Wells Teams operational, personal and process safety performance.
Provision of key performance metrics for all Company weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual performance management & reporting processes, with a focus on driving consistency and accuracy in the data.
Support the Performance Lead in ensuring performance management information is shared with, and understood by, the wider teams, also recommending actions required to deliver performance excellence.
Provision of internal and external performance benchmarking data and insights on North Sea well operations performance, both internally against other regional Wells teams and externally against other operators.
Representing Company at global performance events, including external conferences and forums.
Expert user of various Company activity tracking and performance management tools, providing training and support to other users within the North Sea Wells teams to ensure consistent application.
Provision of support to other members of the Functional Team as required.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Degree or relevant industry experience.
Demonstrable ability to assimilate complex and ambiguous data to identify key issues and aid decision making.
Demonstrable experience in engaging with multiple stakeholders to deliver robust performance management information which informs decision making.
Expert user of the Microsoft Office suite of programs, including Access.
Excellent organisational, planning, reporting & presentational skills.
Excellent written and spoken communication and influencing skills.
Demonstrated pro-active attitude to work and rigour in delivery.
Engineering or Science degree or eligibility for Chartered Engineer.
Work experience applied to Upstream oil & gas business and most preferably related to drilling, completions and interventions activities,
Work experience in data extraction and analysis, database operation and management.
Working knowledge of: OpenWells / DIMS reporting systems; Tableau software for data extraction and presentation.
