Our major Oil & Gas Client is in need of a Wells PSCM Systems Specialist in Houston, Texas.

Role synopsis:
Responsible for deployment of standard Procurement Supply Chain Management (PSCM) functional processes, systems and tools across PSCM teams. Overall scope addresses key supply chain function opportunities in the areas of P2P, material master data, process efficiency and automation. Drives, supports, and promotes the use of PSCM tools.
Key accountabilities:
• Ensures the provision of effective procurement systems, e.g. MiDAS, Backbone (SAP, including Quadrem and interfaces with Maximo), Ariba, and Oyster.
o Develops and Implements PSCM specific P2P system/tool management, e.g. Global SORAC system solution, Global Wells Catalog/pricebook solutions.
• Develops and Implements the Wells PSCM P2P System Plan.
– Ensures appropriate alignment of P2P systems and tools among PSCM, Global PSCM, and Regions.
– Identify and close capability gaps.
– Drives system consistency and simplification.
– Works with the Category Teams to understand the holistic view of the PSCM processes, incorporate technology solutions to improve, streamline or simplify.
– Ensures mechanism for delivering key information and guidance for the business community on how best to leverage PSCM in the delivery of business value.
– Establishes and monitors feedback mechanisms to support continuous improvement of PSCM systems and processes
– Oversees and supports systems and tools deployment across PSCM.
• Functions as single point of contact and interface with IT&S, Global and Region PSCM System Teams on all P2P Systems related initiatives, including the Backbone project.
• Single point of contact for PSCM local and global master data, ensuring compliance to global data standards.
• Represents PSCM in systems related CoP’s, such as P2P and MM, to share information, best practices and lessons learned
• Maintains and assures compliance of systems.
• Supports the development of a high-performing and motivated team responsible for interfacing with key stakeholders.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
To be considered for the role of PSCM Systems Specialist, applicants must meet the following criteria and qualifications:

• Legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than your current employer
• The willingness and ability to travel up to 25% of the time in order to fulfill the responsibilities of this position
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or Supply Chain Management is essential
• Proven track record on systems implementation
• Project Management experience

Travel required Yes – up to 25%

In addition to the essential criteria and qualifications, the successful candidate is likely to be able to demonstrate:

• Oil and Gas, Exploration & Production experience
• Procurement Supply Chain Management expertise
• Knowledge of SAP Material Data Master and Pricebooks modules
