The Role:
Position Required Senior Well Services HES Representative
Reports to (Position) Well Services HES Advisor
OMANI NATIONAL ONLY.

Job Description/Major Duties (general job functions, responsibilities, day-to-day tasks & activities)
The Senior Well Services HES Representative will be responsible for providing Health, Environment, & Safety support to the client Services Team. The primary focus will be the safe and efficient operation of well servicing operations and associated equipment in support of the Oman North development.

The Senior Well Services HES Representative responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Coordinate and support the implementation of HES Management System (HESMS) & EMS (Emergency Management System), including program implementation, audits, inspections, contractor HES program support, and other HES activities applicable to Oman North well servicing operation.
• Implements the WS 2014 Audit schedule and manages same on behalf of Well Services HES Advisor.
• Teaches and mentors Well Servicing staff in the application of all company and regulatory HES related policies and procedures. Conducts inspections and compliance audits against applicable performance standards for both client and contractor equipment and service.
• Develop key metrics and prepare reports related to well servicing HES performance.
• Coordinates and/or leads incident investigations and monitors incident close out progress.
• Active participant in contractor safety meetings.
• Works with Muscat-office HES Specialist (Well Servicing) to develop EMS compliance template for Well Servicing contractor(s)
• Supports HES Team with well service units/rig and equipment inspections, risk identification/mitigation, and program input.
• Provide HES inspection of well servicing rigs and associated equipment / tools to ensure they are sound / properly guarded.
• Routinely inspect Safe Work Practices and instruct team members on their proper application.
• Liaison between Well Servicing / Oil Delivery Team and HES&S Team any HES&S related issues that may arise.
• Development and delivery of HES training materials.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Requirements (Education required, background, experience, skills)
• Bachelor Degree in Engineering or HES certificates ( e.g., IOSH ).
• Has minimum of 10 years experience in work over activities with primary experience in HES.
• Oil and Gas industry experience is a must.
• Well control certificate or equivalent preferred.
• Previous work experience on well intervention operations – Workover, Well Testing, CTU, SL, EL, Hyd fracturing, stimulation and pumping preferred.
• Problem solving skills and the ability to develop effective solutions to identified problems.
• Ability to lead incident investigations and document findings.
• Working knowledge of local or/and International HES standards and legislation as applicable to well servicing.
• Self motivated with good problem solving skills.
• Clear understanding of line management and line responsibilities.
• Clear remit of taking responsibility for suspending operations if applicable.
