The Role:
The Subsea Supervisor’s role will be primarily an offshore position. However, the function will provide onshore technical support for project pre-planning, SIT’s / SRT’s and the ongoing Operations. The position will be responsible for a wide range of Subsea XMT, Completion & Well intervention planning and operations management activities. The Subsea Supervisor will be instrumental in ensuring the success of the Subsea XMT /Completion installation & Well intervention activites undertaken on the Subsea Wells. A key role of the position will be to ensure consistent process & procedures are implemented and to continually strive towards execution excellence.

The Wells Subsea Supervisor’s primary responsibilities:-
•Responsible for Offshore Subsea installation activities from both Vessels and Rigs.
•Responsible for the onshore preparation SIT’s / SRT’s of all Subsea Wells Equipment Including XMT’s, IWOCs, Tubing Hanger Completion Equipment, Subsea Test Trees etc
•Responsible for Subsea Equipment Mobilisations.
•Definition and oversight of Drilling Rig/Vessel modifications to ensure Safe and efficient Installations.
•Preparation of XMT and Upper Completion Programmes and work Instructions.
•Liaise with Drilling, Completions and Subsea Teams for all interface Issues.
•Ensure all ROV tooling Interfaces are defined for all workscopes.
•Responsible for day to day work plans for Subsea Contractor Personnel .
•Continually develop Lessons Learned .
•Take Part and perform the relevant Risk Assessment / Hazop / Hazid requirements.
•Ensure Well Integrity Plans are prepared and updated.
•Mentor, Train and Promote national Staff is important.
•Follow the Drilling and Well Operation Procedures and ETP’s

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•7-10 years in the Subsea Wells Industry preferably of which 3 have been spent working for the Operator
•HND preferred as a minimum. (Dependant on experience)
•Good working knowledge of Horizontal XMT’s, Tubing Hanger, IWOCS and Subsea Test Trees.
•Experienced in the writing of XMT and Completion Programmes
•Experience of Running Trees on Wire.
•Familiar with ROV Tooling Interfaces and Operations.
•Familiar with Subsea BOP’s and control systems.
•Experienced in HP/HT Wells.
•Proven ability to organize and Supervise Offshore Installation and Well Construction activities including 3rd Party service personnel and equipment planning.
•Has good understanding of cross-discipline requirements for Subsea well intervention planning and execution.
•Good Teamwork and Organisational skills
•Ability to work in a remote location in a very challenging environment
•Familiar with Subsea Engineering Standards .
•IWCF Well Control Surface and Subsea Supervisor Certification preferred.
