The Company:
Our Client is an international oil and gas company with operated production of about 650,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day in various offshore and onshore locations. They have ongoing exploration and production activities worldwide, and have over 50 years of experience turning marginal and challenging fields into commercial successes.

The Role:
Our Client is looking for 4/5 Wellsite Geologists for at least a one year period (4 exploration wells). The WSG should possess 3-5 years active work experience in the oil industry as a well site geologist.

The candidate is expected to have the following specific skills in order to perform satisfactory in this position:
- Ability to describe cuttings sample
- Ability to supervise mudlogging, electric logging, MWD, pressure monitoring, coring, sampling and testing techniques at the well site
- Ability to write final well report
- Knowledge of common drilling practices to work with other operational disciplines
- General geological and geophysical exploration knowledge

In the long term, our Client should be starting a development campaign.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Experience in drilling turbiditic sandstones.
Experience in pre-salt exploration (equivalent to the Brazil pre salt carbonates).
Software knowledge of Geo for Windows.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Angolan deep water experience would be a plus.
