Our client is a major operator within Oil & Gas

The Role:
The Wireline and Perforating Auditor & Specialist will report to the Wells Audit Team Manager. The position will have dotted reporting lines to the Well Services Manager. This role is integral to our strategy of building and maintaining robust technical and management standards and furthering the projects commitment to advancing Iraq’s technical infrastructure and expertise to an international level of excellence.

Key Accountabilities:

Key roles and responsibilities include:

o The ability to lead by example and drive change in a workforce accustomed to less developed HS&E practices.
o Develop, implement and maintain the project minimum standards for wireline & Perforating operations.
o Develop tiered multi-level audit check lists and verification tools.
o Ensure contractor delivery to international and contract standards by performing scheduled tiered multi-level field, facility and procedure & data audits.
o Schedule follow up reviews and tracking of audit action items.
o Perform trouble shooting, root cause analysis and incident investigation reports.
o Plan, deliver and assess periodic formal training on specialist subjects and quality control measures to Iraqi staff.
o To mentor Iraqi staff and logging witnesses on audit check lists and quality verification tools.
o To liaise and facilitate feedback on data quality issues with the Project Subsurface department.
o To champion the application of new technology, international standards (API, ISO) and best practices as appropriate.
o Assist in the development of contract Scopes of Work and participate in tender evaluations and supplier performance management..
o Provide specialist support to well designs, field operations & technical workshops.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
o Detailed knowledge & experience of electric line logging and logging deliverables (Both open & cased hole), perforating (Both Wireline & TCP), pipe-recovery and slick-line services.
o Experience of CT conveyed logging and perforating is an advantage.
o To have good knowledge of log interpretation and quality control.
o Knowledge of oilfield explosive manufacture and design.
o Knowledge of oilfield propellant stimulation techniques.
o Knowledge of perforating nodal analysis methods.
o Knowledge of audit and management systems.
o A proven ability to coach, train and mentor local & international staff.
o A strong team player with self-motivation skills and the ability to work independently is a must.
o A proven ability and recognised reputation in a similar technical specialist role.
o Excellent formal reporting and technical writing skills.
o Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels.
