The Role:
The Eagle-Ford Workover Supervisor will be responsible for the daily operations of workover and service rigs. Duties include ensuring safe operations, the prioritization of wellwork, on-site supervision, documentation and tracking. This position will also be responsible for the training of rig crews in Company's procedures and policies. The team has aggressive plans to manage up to 20 drilling rigs and the multitude of wells required to develop the field. The Workover Supervisor will be responsible for R&M well work on any existing wells and newly drilled wells.

Responsibilities:
1. Ensure the safe and efficient operations of contract service and workover rigs. Provide on-site supervision of rig operations.
2. Train rig crew on proper procedures and Company polices. Actively lead safety meetings for rig crews.
3. Prioritize wellwork to minimize deferred production and reduce rig costs.
4. Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs)- safety, pulling procedures, pump handling and installation, cleanout methods and procedures, etc.
5. Provide information on R&M wellwork to engineering. Work with other team members to establish best practices and reduce failures. Work with completions group on initial down hole design.
6. Ensure proper reporting and cost tracking of wellwork.

Computer Proficiencies:
Applicant should be proficient in Word, PowerPoint, Wellview and Excel and. Access a plus.

Certifications:
Well Control a plus

Work Experience:
Five (5) - 10 years of working with service and workover rigs as a Workover Supervisor with duties including stimulation and failure analysis or similar duties. Production experience with artificial lift equipment a plus.
